We are a group of African culture conservative activists who after a deep
rethinking, decided to create this platform to recall our African communities all
over the world especially in urban areas not to dismiss their own cultures to
the detriment of the others and be proud of our original cultures.

We can imitate foreign cultures but we cannot forget our own cultures in order
to satisfy other people.

To forget your cultures means to forget your own history…

Our cultures must be inherited by our offspring generation after generation.

We are a cultural organization aimed at:

‐ Revalue African Culture in particular Burundian one which tends to
gradually fade by Western or foreign cultures (western and Islamic
religious matters, democracy, republic etc…).
‐ Promote different African cultures, including African music instruments
(drums, string instruments, flutes, etc …) and dances.
‐ Train groups of young people from low ages about their own culture
which is threatened by foreign cultures
‐ Strengthen cultural capacities…
‐ Participate in International festivals on culture especially on “drums”
since Burundian drums were recognized by UNESCO as intangible
heritage in 2014.
‐ Organize cultural competitions in different provinces of Burundi.
‐ Organize home visits to reminds parents’ responsibilities in building
awareness of our ancestors’ cultures by ( taking their children to the
National Museums and other traditional sites all over country, telling
their children tales
‐ Support the workshops that make traditional works of art because it has
been seen that many traditional works of art are used for decorating
houses and other places.
